Doradal is a village (corregimiento) of Puerto Triunfo rather than a town of its own, but it is where tourism in Antioquia's Magdalena Medio happens. The bus station, most hotels and the entrance to Hacienda Nápoles are here.
Where is Doradal?
Doradal is in the municipality of Puerto Triunfo, in the Magdalena Medio subregion of eastern Antioquia. It sits on the Medellín-Bogotá highway, about 173-180 km from Medellín (3-4 h) and 5-7 hours from Bogotá by bus. At around 250 m above sea level, average temperatures are close to 27 °C (81 °F).
