Puerto Triunfo, Doradal and Hacienda Nápoles: getting your bearings

Puerto Triunfo is a municipality in Antioquia's Magdalena Medio. Its main town faces the Magdalena River and has a riverfront promenade; it also includes villages such as Doradal, Estación Cocorná and Puerto Perales. Most travelers sleep in Doradal: it is on the Medellín-Bogotá highway, has the bus station and most of the hotels, and is minutes from Hacienda Nápoles Theme Park at km 165.

West along the same highway lies the Río Claro Canyon Nature Reserve (km 152). And inside Doradal is La Aldea, the Greek-style neighborhood nicknamed the "Colombian Santorini". Curious about the place itself? Read our Doradal guide.
